Mark Esperti

Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, 152956 and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor, 18682

Hi, my name is Mark Esperti. I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor, dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey toward healing and personal growth. I am excited to apply my clinical training within an integrated wellness setting like The Refinery, where a holistic approach to mental health is valued.

My experience spans working with individuals, couples, families, and children, with a strong background in facilitating group therapy. I utilize a range of psychotherapy modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Mindfulness Practices, and Meditation. I have a deep understanding of life transitions and family dynamics, and I strive to create a supportive, compassionate space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered as we navigate their challenges together.

I earned my Bachelor’s Degree from California State University, Northridge (CSUN) and my Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. My passion for mental health destigmatization started in college and is closely tied to my advocacy for the LGBTQ+ community, ensuring that inclusive, affirming care remains at the heart of my practice.

Originally from New York City, I spent 22 years in Los Angeles before making Palm Springs my permanent home in the summer of 2022. I am grateful to be part of this vibrant community and to continue my work in a place that values mental wellness and holistic care.
