Lorraine offers more than a decade of clinical and medical social work. She has worked extensively to assist those suffering from the debilitating consequences of substance abuse, and specializes in issues facing women and the LGBT community. In addition, Lorraine has worked with the terminally ill population and their families to bring comfort and support as they moved through the sensitive process of grief and loss. Lorraine is passionate about whole-person wellness and incorporates her training in Health Education, Fitness, and Adventure Therapy into her clinical practice. She brings a Strength-based, Solution-focused approach and utilizes a variety of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Narrative Therapy approaches to her work.

Lorraine holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Health Science from California State University, Long Beach and earned a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree at the University of New England. She is Licensed as Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Advanced Alcohol & Drug Counselor (LAADAC) in the state of California. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Organizational Leadership at the University of the Cumberlands, Kentucky.
