Lida Hughes
Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, 133755
My name is Lida Hughes, and I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, with experience providing therapeutic services to individual adults, couples, children, adolescents, and families, in agency, school, and private practice settings. I am passionate about supporting people who are navigating challenges or changes in their lives and want to feel more connected to themselves and to others. My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and trauma-informed, as well as neurodiversity and LGBTQIA+ affirming. In our work together I hope to provide a warm, supportive environment where you can engage in deep exploration and create positive change in your life.
My areas of specialty include trauma, self-esteem, life transitions, relationships, anxiety, ADHD, and codependency. I utilize my training in a variety of techniques in the therapy room, including EMDR Therapy, ACT, mindfulness, and somatics, as well as the Gottman Method when working with couples.
