    Associate Professional Clinical Counselor, 11410

I’m an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor dedicated to helping people create rich and meaningful lives. My work focuses on targeting the beliefs and behaviors that hold us back from being our most liberated and authentic selves. I value taking a collaborative and nonjudgmental approach to helping clients reach their goals in a space that welcomes both irreverence and raw emotion. I’m passionate about destigmatizing attending therapy and am committed to practicing in a culturally attuned manner that is affirming of all identities.

I hold a master’s degree in psychology from Pepperdine University as well as a master’s degree in psychology with an emphasis in professional clinical counseling from the University of Massachusetts Global. Additionally, I completed three years of doctoral coursework and training in clinical psychology at Pepperdine University. I have served in a variety of treatment settings across the continuum of care, including homeless shelters, hospitals, residential and outpatient treatment centers, and schools, providing support to people struggling with mood and anxiety disorders, personality disorders, trauma, and substance use. I am robustly experienced in evidence-based treatment modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and also draw upon psychodynamics, attachment theory, and Motivational Interviewing techniques to help clients explore and resolve ambivalence toward change. When I’m not practicing therapy, you can find me choral singing, interior designing, and playing with my golden retriever.

I wholeheartedly believe that we cannot shame ourselves into lasting change; it only occurs through acceptance. I am continually humbled at the opportunity to witness the resilience of others and I look forward to helping you walk through discomfort into empowerment.
